In the surroundings of the black forest hotel Erdrichshof, there’s a comprehensive network of hiking trails. You can discover the charming landscape around Oppenau and the “Renchtal”. You can visit the “Allerheiligen water falls” and the enormous ruins of the abbey “Allerheiligen”. During summer, you must see the open air bath Oppenau.

In the direct neighbourhood, there’s the spa Bad Peterstal Griesbach with its holy mineral sources and Kneipp baths. Here, you will find and escellent hiking trail of 300 kms – furthermore, the first Nordic Walking fitness sport park of Baden – Württemberg was opened here.

Europa park Rust :

The biggest leisure park of Germany and one of the best in Europe. Here, you and your family will find a fantastic world for everyone. More than 100 attractions and spectacular shows are waiting for you!

Straßbourg :

The medieval town with its gothic church “Cathedrale”, a boattrip on the Ill or the European Parliament – it is really worth an excursion in the near Alsace with its wine villages, the castles or the “Odilienberg”.

Museum of “Vogtsbauernhöfe”

The black forest farms from the 16^th century are still maintained originally. You will learn a lot about the life of the past century.

Toboggan run Gutach :

One of the most beautiful toboggan runs is located in Gutach, in the middle of an amazing landscape. The visitors can use a lift for reaching the upper station. Afterwards, you can experience a racy downhill.

Baden-Baden :

The world-famous spa is a popular meeting place for young and old people. A visit of the casino, festival theatre or Caracalla will surely stay in your mind for quite a long time.

Black forest panorama road :

One of the most beautiful panorama roads in Germany. You will not only enjoy the fantastic views and the nice- smelling pine forests but also be enthusiastic about the legendary Mummel-see (lake „Mummelsee“) and the „Mummelsee ghost“ .... a visit to the nature reserve centre „Ruhestein“ and afterwards a walk on one of the numerous footpaths will surely please you.
